What is the Greedy?
The Greedy is the name for RAGC roll up group which play every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to play in The Greedy, regardless of gender or handicap and is open to golfers of all ages and standards. The rules are simple, select a ball put it in the rack and wait for it to be drawn. You end up playing with whoever fate has destined.
The game is played over 18 holes using the Stableford scoring system. New players are assigned a handicap 2 shots below their official handicap. The Greedy handicap is adjusted after every round to take into consideration how well the player has scored.
The entry fee to play is only a £1, however, every losing pair must cover the one of the other players entry fee meaning they will pay no more than £2. Every birdies is worth a massive 20p.

Year Round Preferred Lies
The Rod Garraway Trophy
Every December, all the Greedys play for the Rod Garraway Trophy, one of the early founders of the roll up who passed on a few years ago. Open to everyone, in order to be eligible to win the “Garraway Trophy”, you must have played a minimum 12 Greedys throughout the year, regardless of which day you play (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday).
